📜 Terms & Conditions (T&C) - Jangala Treks

1. Introduction

Welcome to Jangala Treks, a trekking community and organizer founded in 2022 by Ms. Parvati. By registering for or participating in any of our treks, you agree to abide by the following Terms & Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking.

2. Eligibility & Participation

  • All participants must be in good physical and mental health to undertake trekking activities.
  • Children below 15 years must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
  • Participants must truthfully disclose any medical conditions, allergies, or health concerns at the time of booking.
3. Booking & Payments

  • Bookings will only be confirmed upon full payment of the trek fee.
  • Prices may vary based on trek difficulty, location, and season.
  • Bookings are non-transferable unless permitted by Jangala Treks management.
4. Code of Conduct

  • Participants must respect nature, wildlife, and local communities.
  • Littering, use of plastic, or disturbing the environment is strictly prohibited.
  • Consumption of alcohol, drugs, or any intoxicants during treks is not allowed.
  • All instructions given by trek leaders must be strictly followed for safety.
5. Risks & Responsibilities

  • Trekking involves physical exertion, altitude changes, and unpredictable weather. By joining, you acknowledge these risks.
  • Jangala Treks is not liable for injuries, accidents, illness, or loss/damage of personal belongings during treks.
  • Participants are advised to have personal insurance coverage for accidents or medical emergencies.
6. Itinerary & Changes

  • Jangala Treks reserves the right to modify itineraries, trek routes, schedules, or cancel treks in case of safety issues, weather conditions, government restrictions, or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • In such cases, participants may be offered an alternative trek or a refund as per the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
7. Termination of Participation

  • Jangala Treks reserves the right to exclude any participant who is unfit, misbehaves, or poses a risk to others or the environment. No refund will be given in such cases.
8. Governing Law

  • These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Maharashtra courts.

🔒 Privacy Policy (PP) - Jangala Treks


1. Information We Collect

  • To ensure smooth trek management and participant safety, we may collect:
  • Personal details (name, age, gender, contact number, email).
  • Emergency contact information.
  • Health-related information relevant to trek safety.
  • Payment details for processing bookings.
2. How We Use Your Information

  • To confirm trek bookings and send trek-related communication.
  • To ensure participant safety and provide medical assistance if required.
  • To inform you about upcoming treks, offers, or community activities (only with your consent).
  • To comply with legal obligations when necessary.
3. Data Protection & Security

  • All personal data is securely stored and accessed only by authorized team members.
  • We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information with third parties.
  • In case of emergencies, health and contact details may be shared with trek leaders, doctors, or rescue authorities.
4. Data Retention

  • We retain participant information only for as long as necessary for trek operations, safety records, and legal compliance.
5. Your Rights

  • You can request access, correction, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us.
  • You can opt out of promotional communications at any time.
6. Third-Party Services

  • Payments are processed via secure third-party gateways. We do not store sensitive financial information.
7. Policy Updates

  • Jangala Treks may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on our website.


💰 Cancellation & Refund Policy Jangala Treks


1. Participant Cancellations

  • Cancellation 7 days before trek date → 80% refund.
  • Cancellation 3-6 days before trek date → 50% refund.
  • Cancellation less than 3 days before trek date → No refund.
2. No-Show

  • If a participant does not show up on the trek day, no refund will be provided.
3. Organizer Cancellations

  • If Jangala Treks cancels a trek due to weather, safety concerns, government restrictions, or operational issues, participants will receive a 100% refund or the option to reschedule for another trek.
4. Refund Process

  • Approved Refunds will be credited within 7-10 working days to the original payment method used at the time of booking.
