Ghanchakkar & Bhairavgad
This fort (1145 metres) is believed to be ancient and almost 2500 years old. This fort has only few ruins and remains on the top. There are two big caves on the top in which one cave is a shrine of Lord Bhairavnath and another cave is used for residence purpose. There are many water tanks on the top. The idol in the cave is very good carved painted and is well maintained by the villagers.

Day 1
12:30 am - Meet Trek Leader at Kasara Railway Station.
12:45 pm - Move towards the base village in by private local vehicle.
05:00 am - Reach at base village - Shirpunje.
Freshen up and Breakfast.
06:00 am - Start ascending.
07:30 am - Reach at the top and explore. Visit temple and Ghanchakkar ladders.
We will climb the ladder only and reach Ghanchakkar and descend soon we will not head further
09:30 am - Start descending.
11:00 am - Reach at base village.
11:30 am - Lunch. veg and non - veg
12:30 pm - Start return journey towards Kasara station.
04:30 pm - Reach at Kasara station and disperse.

Bus participant, please arrive 10-15 mins prior to your pick-up location .
You are going in Nature in Mountains and Village so please do not expect luxury all will be Natural. All arrangements like Food, Washroom, changing room will be taken care by Village people.
Cancellation Policy and Charges
Fees paid are non-refundable but transferable to another person for the same event.
Refund will only given if organiser cancel the event .
If the event is canceled due to any natural calamity, political unrest or other such reasons beyond our control the same cancellation policy will apply.
Refunds won't be issued if you cannot attend the event due to heavy rains, floods, traffic jams, car breakdowns or a personal medical emergency.
Your booking cannot be shifted to another date if you cannot attend the event due to heavy rains, floods, traffic jams, car breakdowns, or a personal medical emergency.
If your area is prone to flooding, traveling from a flooded area, heavy traffic, heavy rains, missing the train, or any other reason, if you cannot attend the event, we won't issue a refund or shift you to another date.
Management won't be held responsible if you are stuck due to heavy rains, traffic jams, personal emergencies or floods during the event.
If you are bringing kids, please understand the possibility of getting stuck or delayed. You might have to stay back due to heavy rains, floods, bus breakdowns, and rush at the trekking destination. You will have to wait it out till the weather clears.
Due to bad weather, floods, sudden changes in government rules, and overcrowding at the destination trek, the organizer has the right to change the trekking destination.
During the trek, due to any circumstances seen or unseen trek leader has the right to cancel the trek for safety reason. No refund shall be issued.

1. Are Kids allowed on treks?
Kids below 15 with Parents supervision only. We have had 5 years old kids complete the trek with their parents in the past.
2. What type of food will be provided?
Food preference Veg ,non-veg local home-cooked is available. On top, we provide breakfast Poha and Tea.
3. Phone Connectivity on the Ghanchakkar trekking route?
Limited phone connectivity available for most cellular services. You can speak with trek leader regarding the same if you need to connect with your family urgently.
4. Can I charge my phone at the base village?
Yes you can but. Please carry a power bank if required.
